Government Revises New Passport Delivery Times
The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports has revised the new passport delivery time for the public. According to the official notification recently issued by DG Immigration & Passports, new passport delivery times are as follows:

| Normal | 10 working days |
While the passport office timings for passport applications and delivery is as follows:

| Friday | 08:00 am to 12:30 pm. | 07:30 am to 03:30 pm. |
Following the above notification, the normal passport delivery time frame is now 10 working days, urgent passport delivery time is 4 working days while the Fast Track passport applicant will get their passport within 2 working days. The passport fee is different for normal, urgent, and Fast Track with their respective categories like 36 Pages, 72 Pages, 100 Pages, and 5 or 10 years validity time periods.
The decision was taken due to the extraordinary rush and the large number of passport applications received in recent days. The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has received a large number of passport applications and to facilitate citizens, they just revised the new passport delivery times.
